about Elizabeth

I am a widow, now remarried, mother of 2 adult kids (and 3 bonus kids), and a retired elementary teacher. I taught 27 years in Jefferson County Public School in Louisville, KY (1996 KY Elementary Teacher of the Year, 1998 Ashland Teacher Achievement Award). In 2011, I founded the largest singles group in Louisville (4000+ ppl) called Singles Meet Singles, LLC. I love people and supporting singles (because it's way different the 'next' time around). 

After years of talking about dating issues (and exploring the dating world myself), my "niche" is working with any/all relationships (3/4 of my clients are "next" time around singles). I feel like this is a great need in the community. I'm definitely NOT a matchmaker or a “Hitch”, rather I help my clients explore different dating perspectives and help them pick the one that best honors their values. Many singles just get in their own way so I help clear what I call saboteurs or blockers. Each client gets full text and email access to me between sessions. I also host a marriage/couples enrichment class and offer couple's coaching. I want to get couples who are doing WELL and keep them doing well so they don't end up in my single class.

So, the best part of my personal story is... after being single 16 years, after 362 "Meet and Greets" I met the "next" love of my life online. He moved to my city and we built a house and now "together" our ministry will be doing couples enrichment. God is good!  (AND I won't forget about all you singles. I'll always work with singles as long as there is a need. With the high divorce rate, I think there will always be a need).
